Born on November 15, 1940, in Florence, Italy, Cavalli rose to fame after opening his own boutique in Saint-Tropez, France, in 1972. Over the years, he garnered commissions from prestigious brands such as Hermès and Pierre Cardin, solidifying his status as a fashion legend.
Aside from his contributions to the industry, Cavalli was also known for his colorful personal life. He was in a relationship with former model Sandra Nilsson since 2014.
