Charlotte Hope is a well-known English actress. She rose to prominence for her recurring role as Myranda in the third through fifth seasons of HBO’s Game of Thrones (2013–2016). Hope rose to attention in her first starring role as Catherine of Aragon on the Starz historical drama series The Spanish Princess (2019-2020).
She had a series regular role in the second season of the ITV thriller Bancroft and the Netflix biographical drama The English Game in 2020. Hope has appeared in the biographical romance film The Theory of Everything (2014) and the horror picture The Nun (2018) in addition to television. She also provided the voice for one of the playable characters in the 2018 action-adventure video game We Happy Few.

Hope was born in Salisbury and raised in Lower Daggons, a rural hamlet in Hampshire’s New Forest District. Emily, Emily’s younger sister, is a member of the band Police Dog Hogan. Their father is a barrister and former jockey, while their mother stayed at home after previously working in public relations.
Hope went to boarding school. She first became interested in performing after taking a drama class in high school. She went on to study French and Spanish at Oxford University. She found an agent and began working in theatre and commercials while there. Hope spent a year in Paris after graduating from Oxford studying acting at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq.
