Quentin Jerome Tarantino, an American director, critic, novelist, and actor, was born on March 27, 1963. His movies are known for their frequent allusions to popular culture and movie genres, non-linear plots, grim comedy, stylized violence, long dialogue, liberal use of foul language, cameos, and ensemble casts. In addition, he made use of images of naked women, music from the 1960s and 1970s, and other creative elements.

When the 1992 crime movie Reservoir Dogs was released, Quentin Tarantino started working on his own. His second film, Pulp Fiction (1994), was a critical and financial success. It was a darkly humorous crime thriller that garnered numerous accolades from moviegoers and critics, including the Palme d’Or and the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. In addition to acting in the 1996 movie From Dusk to Dawn, he also co-wrote the screenplay for it. In 1997, Quentin Tarantino released Jackie Brown, his third film, which paid homage to blaxploitation films.
