Kirk Triplett entered the final round of the Shaw Charity Classic with a one-stroke lead after shooting a steady 2-under 68 on Saturday.
The 60-year-old Triplett, who was playing in the final group with Paul Goydos and the first-round leader Padraig Harrington, took the lead with back-to-back birdies on the par-5 11th and par-3 12th holes.
He bogeyed the following hole before finishing with five straight pars at Canyon Meadows to post a two-round score of 7-under 133.
At the moment the 58-year-old American golfer is in second place as the tournament comes to an end today (August 7).
