After receiving a wildcard into the singles and doubles main events, Arnaldi made his ATP main draw debut at the 2022 Rome Masters. He earned these wildcards by winning pre-qualifying wildcard contests in singles and doubles. He defeated Francesco Maestrelli as a wildcard to win his first Challenger championship at the 2022 Internazionali di Tennis d’Abruzzo.
He achieved a career-high ranking of No. 102 on April 10, 2023, after winning his third Challenger match at the 2023 Murcia Open. In the ATP 500 Barcelona Open opening round, he defeated Jaume Munar to secure a qualifying berth at No. 105.
