The show was shot in several countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Croatia, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, and Spain. It debuted on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011, and ended on May 19, 2019, with 73 episodes spread across eight seasons.

Who is Mance Rayder in ‘Game of Thrones’?

Mance Rayder was the commander of the Free Folk, bearing the title of “King-Beyond-the-Wall” and a dreaded foe of the Night’s Watch, which he had previously served as a black brother.

Mance Rayder was previously a well-known Night’s Watch ranger. He was born a wildling and is proud to have wildling blood in his veins, but as a child, he was abandoned at one of the Wall’s fortresses to be raised in the Night’s Watch.

He quit his station as a young man and went north of the Wall to join the wildlings. He ascended to the position of King-Beyond-the-Wall, a title given to a wildling leader who is able to unite all of the tribes under his rule.

Who killed Mance and how was he killed?

Stannis allegedly burns Mance alive in front of surrendering free folk, Night’s Watch members, the king’s soldiers, and the queen’s men. Jon Snow orders him to be killed by Watch archers during the burning in order to give him a swift death.
