Majorjon Kaylor is an Idaho man who was arrested and charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of four University of Idaho students. The victims were identified as Madison Mogen, 21; Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Ethan Chapin, 20.
Kaylor was arrested on November 14, 2022, just hours after the bodies of the four students were found in an off-campus house in Moscow, Idaho. The students had been killed sometime during the early morning hours of November 13, 2022.
Kaylor was initially arrested on a charge of burglary, but he was later charged with four counts of first-degree murder. He is currently being held in the Latah County Jail without bond.
The motive for the murders is still under investigation, but police believe that Kaylor may have been targeting the students because they were vandals. The students had been accused of vandalizing Kaylor’s property in the past.
Kaylor’s trial is scheduled to begin in September 2023. If convicted, he faces the death penalty.
