Ke Huy Quan, also known as Jonathan Ke Quan, is a Vietnamese-born American stuntman and actor. In Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Quan played Short Round, and in The Goonies, he played Data.
Quan stopped acting after roles in the sitcom Head of the Class and the film Encino Man due to a lack of opportunities and earned a film degree from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Quan later worked as a stunt coordinator and an assistant director.
Quan went to Mount Gleason Junior High in Tujunga, California, and Alhambra High in Alhambra, California. In 1999, Quan graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Following graduation, Quan collaborated on several projects with Hong Kong fight choreographer Corey Yuen.
