Beloved television anchor Kate Merrill recently left WBZ after over 20 years with the Boston station, leaving fans curious about her husband, former athlete Michael Dunham.
Michael Dunham, born on June 1, 1972, in Johnson City, New York, is a former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the NHL for teams like the New Jersey Devils, Nashville Predators, New York Rangers, Atlanta Thrashers, and New York Islanders. He is currently serving as the goaltender development coach for the Boston Bruins, a position he has held since July 31, 2017.
In addition to his hockey career, Michael also played competitive golf and represented the Black Bears at the University of Maine from 1990 to 1993, achieving various accolades during his time there.
Married to news anchor Kate Merrill, the couple shares two children, daughters Addison Dunham and Kayden Dunham. Kate often shares photos of her family on social media, expressing love and pride for her daughters.
