Forbes ranked him 24 on a list of the best in-state wealth advisers last year. However, Iannazzo who is a veteran advisor (over 26 years) came under widespread scrutiny when a video of him in a ‘hate crime’ popped up on the internet.
The video of him verbally assaulting, ranting, and even tossing a drink at a smoothie worker of Robeks was initially posted on TikTok by one of the employees, and later circulated widely on Twitter.
One clip amassed more than 2.6 million views.
According to Robeks rep, Barbara Caruso, the firm and its franchisees “have a zero-tolerance policy for this sort of behavior, and we are glad that the franchisee’s team members were not physically injured.”
She added that, “We applaud the fast action taken by law enforcement and the court system in pursuing criminal charges for this abhorrent behavior”.
On February 7, Iannazzo is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.
