Who is Gene LeBell’s son David LeBell?

The late Gene LeBell’s son is David LeBell. He was an actor best known for his roles in Commando, RoboCop 2, and Lethal Weapon 4 (1985).

Edward Herrmann, Larry Wilcox, Sam Groom, Alex Winter, Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Tony Curtis, Adam Baldwin, John Stockwell, Drew Carrey, David Anthony Higgins, Michael DeLorenzo, and Randy Quaid are among the actors for whom David has performed stunt double.

David competed for Welcome Mat Judo while in college and won the Los Angeles City Judo Championship. He has also been featured in numerous martial arts publications, including Black Belt Magazine and Inside Kung Fu.

He was a nominee for the Stunt Award for “Best Action Sequence” on the @StuntsSamp Twitter account.

LeBell received a promotion to 10th Degree from the World Martial Arts Masters Association on August 7, 2004, and the USJJF awarded him a promotion to 9th Dan in Traditional Judo in February 2005.

In Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Cliff Booth (played by Brad Pitt) was modeled after LeBell.
