She has appeared in a number of films such as Rent, The Trouble with Romance, and Tales of an Ancient Empire. She also directed, wrote, and produced the film Miss Representation.
Gavin Newsom and Jennifer met in October 2006 on a blind date set up by a mutual friend at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
The couple announced their engagement in January 2008. Later in July of the same year, they got married at Jennifer’s parents’ ranch in Stevensville, Montana.
The family currently lives in Fair Oaks, California.
