Nigerian politician and businessman tiku Abubakar was born on November 25, 1946, in Jada.

His political career began in the early 1980s when he worked behind the scenes on Bamanga Tukur’s gubernatorial campaign, canvassing for votes and contributing to the cause.

Atiku Abubakar eventually entered mainstream politics, campaigned for governor of Adamawa State in 1990, 1996, and 1998, but lost.
