The love story of Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn is one of the cutest in all of Hollywood.
Although the incredibly private couple like to keep their romance under wraps, they have occasionally shared details about how their love began. Since they were children, Sheeran and Seaborn have been friends. They started dating immediately after reuniting in 2015 in New York City.
In January 2018, Sheeran and Seaborn had a simple ceremony in front of just 40 guests. On the Table Manners with Jessie Ware podcast, Sheeran called it a “little, tiny gathering.” We carried it out at night on an arbitrary day in the middle of January at a remote location, he remarked.

Seaborn was born and raised in England. She was raised in the Suffolk city of Framlingham by her parents, Matthew Seaborn and Ann Lancaster. Her brother’s name is Charlie. Her father was a cricket and soccer player at Oxford Polytechnic.
She graduated from Thomas Mills High School, where she played field hockey. When she was a senior in high school, she first met Ed Sheeran, a well-known musician who would later become her husband.
After graduating from high school, she enrolled in Durham University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology. Cherry was a star player and the Women’s Field Hockey team’s captain.
She led her side to the British University title in 2012 and 2013.
In the Investec English Women’s Hockey League North Conference, she also placed second each season for two seasons.
Following Durham, she earned her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She played field hockey for their women’s squad in 2013, which was her only year there.
