Who is Donna Summer husband Bruce Sudano?

Bruce Charles Sudano (born September 26, 1948) is an American singer-songwriter best known for penning songs for artists like Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, and his late wife, the Grammy Award-winning vocalist Donna Summer. Sudano established the independent record label Purple Heart Recording Company.

Early life

In Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York City, Margaret Alessio (1924–2012) and Louis Sudano welcomed Sudano into the world (1923–2008). When Sudano was four years old, he began teaching himself how to play the accordion.

He afterward learned himself to play the piano and guitar. He soon established himself as a talented musician in his community, and at the age of twelve, he agreed to play his first paid gig.

In the middle of the 1960s, Sudano joined his first band, Silent Souls, and started playing bass guitar. He practiced a lot, and soon he was doing live shows at renowned New York City nightclubs.

Music career

Sudano joined as a keyboard player when Pepe Cardona and Sudano co-founded the pop rock band Alive N Kickin’ in 1968. Tommy James co-wrote the group’s song “Tighter, Tighter” with Bob King.

James not only provided backup vocals for the song, but he also produced it. The song, which Roulette Records made available, peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1970.

On a nationwide promotional tour, Alive N Kickin’ served as the opening act for Chicago and Frank Zappa. Sudano, on the other hand, split up Alive ‘N Kickin’ in 1972 and moved to Los Angeles, California, where he composed and performed folk music alone.
