Sean Love Combs was born in New York City, United States, on November 4, 1969. He is better known by his stage names Puff Daddy, Puffy, P. Diddy, or Diddy. He is a rapper, actor, and record executive from the United States.
After serving as the talent director at Uptown Records, Combs, a native of Harlem, established his record label, Bad Boy Records, in 1993. The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Usher are just a few of the musicians Combs has supported and cultivated.
At Mount Saint Michael Academy, Combs earned his diploma in 1987. He played football for the academy, and in 1986, his team took first place in the division. People used to refer to Combs as “Puff” when he was younger, according to Combs, because of the way he would “huff and puff” when he was enraged.
Combs attended Howard University to study business but left after his second year. To receive an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities and to deliver the 146th Commencement Address at Howard University, he went back to the school in 2014.
