The world is aware of Colin Farrell’s acting prowess thanks to a distinguished career spanning nearly twenty years in film and television.

Colin Farrell was born and raised in Castleknock, Republic of Ireland. Before obtaining a lead role in “Tigerland” (2000) and subsequently “Phone Booth” (2002), Farrell attended the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin.

He later appeared as the lead in “Minority Report” (2002), “Daredevil” (2003), and “SWAT” (2003). Martin McDonagh’s “In Bruges” (2008) earned Farrell a Golden Globe nomination, while Yorgos Lanthimos’ “The Lobster” also garnered him a nomination.

Further notable roles include those in Oliver Stone’s “Alexander” (2004), “Miami Vice” (2006) with Jamie Foxx, “Fright Night” (2011), and the Warner Bros’. comedy “Horrible Bosses” (2011).

He also starred in Disney’s “Saving Mr. Banks,” “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” and Terrence Malick’s “The New World” (2005). (2013). His more recent credits include the live-action adaptation of “Dumbo” by Disney, “The Killing of a Sacred Deer” (2017) by Yorgos Lanthimos, “Widows” (2018) by Steve McQueen, and “The Beguiled” (2017) by Sofia Coppola (2019). With his two sons, he currently makes his home in Los Angeles.
