Chris Philp, a member of the British Conservative Party, was born on July 6, 1976. Since September 2022, he has held the position of Chief Secretary to the Treasury. As the Member of Parliament (MP) for Croydon South, he was chosen in May 2015.

He was chosen to serve as Sajid Javid’s Parliamentary Private Secretary in August 2019.
