Karen Vieth Edgar is the widow of the late Bob Knight. The two were happily married for more than two decades.
In 1988, the late Knight married Karen Vieth Edgar, Knight was 47 and Edgar was 41 at the time of their marriage. They tied the knot at the Indiana Interchurch Center in Indianapolis on May 23.
Their marriage marked the second time they were marrying. Bob was previously married to Nancy with whom he welcomed two sons. There is no information about Keren’s previous marriage. Bob and Keren’s marriage ended in 2023 after Bob passed away.
Though they were married for more than two decades, they did not welcome any child together. They also didn’t adopt any child as well.
Karen was an Oklahoma high school basketball coach turned ESPN analyst. She is said to have coached Lomega to Oklahoma State Championships in 1982, 1983 and 1987. She resigned for personal reasons in 1987.
