On June 11, 1987, Edward Gallo “Ned” Fulmer was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He earned a chemistry degree from Yale University. He worked in a research lab before switching careers and joining Buzzfeed, where he established the video fellowship program.
He formerly lived in Chicago, where he worked in a renewable energy lab during the day and performed improv and sketch for the Second City and iO Chicago house teams at night, earning him the Time Out Chicago “Critic’s Pick” accolade.
He is married to Ariel Fulmer, an interior designer, and they have two daughters. The Verge underlined that much of Fulmer’s “public persona rests around being a husband” and that he “successfully created an audience and brand around this relationship particularly”, designating him a “wife guy”.
Fulmer’s departure from the group was announced on September 27, 2022, as a result of an internal investigation over an adulterous liaison with an employee.
Who is Ariel Fulmer, Ned Fulmer’s wife?
Ariel Fulmer is an interior designer, stylist, author, and co-host of the podcast “You Can Sit Alongside Us” with Becky Herzberger (wife of The Try Guys’ Keith Herzberger) and Maggie Bustamante (fiancée of The Try Guys’ Zach Kornfield).
Ariel and Ned co-hosted the parenting podcast “Baby Steps,” however no new episodes have been uploaded since June 2021. “In this irreverent weekly parenting podcast, YouTube sensations Ned and Ariel Fulmer explore the ugly, muddy reality of having a delightfully Instagram-ready family.
Follow Ariel’s pregnant experience week by week, with a splash of not-so-expert advise, trending product reviews, and poop-in-your-big-boy-pants unvarnished sincerity from a couple experiencing “the miracle of life” in real-time,” according to the podcast’s description.
Ariel and Ned are also the authors of The Date Night Cookbook, a 2021 cookbook that features recipes for their favorite date-night dinners.
