During her remarks at the trophy ceremony, Rus became emotional and dedicated her first Tour-level title to her late father, Lous Rus, who passed away earlier this year. The 32-year-old planned to defend her title in Hamburg next year.
“I really hope to comeback here next year, and I would like to give the trophy to my dad,” he went on to say.
