Since the induction of the Met Gala in 1948 by fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert as a fundraiser for the newly founded Costume Institute to mark the opening of its annual exhibit.
The Met Gala has had wonderful hosts over the years that help British-American journalist Anna Wintour, who is the editor-in-chief of Vogue, she has chaired or co-chaired the Met Gala since 1995 and still doing it to date.
The previous year, that is in 2022 the hosts for the 2022 Met Gala were Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King, Lin-Manuel Miranda and as usual Anna Wintour. They also served as the night’s official co-chairs.
