Peter Rowley born April 29, 1952, is a New Zealand humorous actor and writer. He was previously known as Harrison Rowley. He is best known for his television roles, in which he has appeared as a humorous foil and straight man to comedians such as Billy T. James, David McPhail, and Jon Gadsby.
Rowley began his career in comedy in New Zealand.
He made his New Zealand television debut as an actor and writer in the satirical sketch show A Week of It, and later worked with the show’s stars David McPhail and Jon Gadsby in McPhail and Gadsby and Letter to Blanchy.

The family announces the death of Peter Rowley on April 6, 2008, with tremendous regret. He was seventy years old.
He had been in the hospital for a brief time and was diagnosed with lung cancer. No one knows where he was buried as of yet. His family has kept such information private.
The funeral was held on April 16, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. at Bradwell Crematorium (Chatterley Close, Newcastle, Staffs, ST5 8LE) and subsequently at The Wulstan (Dimsdale Parade East, Wolstanton, Newcastle, Staffordshire ST5 8BU).
