Copeland, the younger sister of Arthur Miller and Kermit Miller, was born in New York City  to parents Isidore and Augusta Miller. 

Copeland made her Broadway debut in 1948 with Sundown Beach, and the following year with Detective Story. She was also in Not For Children (1951), Handful of Fire (1958), Tovarich (1963), Something More! (1964), The Price (1968), Coco (1969), Two By Two (1970), Checking Out (1976), and 45 Seconds.

Copeland had several movies credits as well as appearances on daytime dramas such as Search for Tomorrow and One Life to Live. She died on January 4 , per a post on Broadway.

The family of the 99 year old has since not made any public statement with regards to Copeland’s funeral.
