Jamin Pugh, better known by his ring name Jay Briscoe, was an American professional wrestler. Briscoe was best known for his time with Ring of Honor, where he was one-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions with his brother Mark Briscoe in their 13th reign at the time of his death.

Briscoe was also a two-time ROH World Champion as well as a member of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions.

Where will Jay Briscoe be buried?

The location of Jay Briscoe’s burial has not yet been revealed. Briscoe died in a car accident in Laurel, Delaware, on January 17, 2023. Tony Khan, owner of AEW and ROH, announced his death on Twitter.

Jay and Mark Briscoe made their Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) debuts at Delaware Invasion on January 20, 2001, as part of a three-on-one handicap match against Trent Acid.

The two advanced past the first round of the inaugural Best of the Best event, a show somewhat atypical of CZW in that it is a tournament focusing on athletic junior heavyweight wrestling rather than violent hardcore matches, where the stipulation was whoever took the fall would be eliminated.

They were then pitted against each other in the second round, with Jay emerging victorious and moving on.
