Earl Boen, who played Earl in the movie The Terminator, has reportedly passed away at age 81.

After receiving a lung cancer diagnosis in the fall of 2022, the actor is thought to have passed away on January 5 while vacationing in Hawaii.

His death was officially announced to TMZ by a family member.

The criminal psychologist Dr. Peter Silberman in The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, and Terminator: Dark Fate was the role for which the retired actor was most known.

He is the only actor, aside from Arnold Schwarzenegger, to have roles in all three of the original Terminator movies.

In addition to Walk Like a Man and Movers & Shakers, Boen featured in To Be or Not to Be and Stewardess School.

In 2003, the New York-born actor announced his retirement from performing on screens, but he continued to work as a voice actor for movies, TV shows, and video games.

Mr. Bleakman from Clifford the Big Red Dog, Police Chief Kanifky from Bonkers, The Narrator from World of Warcraft, Seor Senior, Senior from Kim Possible, and Captain LeChuck from the Monkey Island series are just a few of the characters he has voiced.

He formally ended his acting career in 2017.
