Blackie Onassis, the drummer for the ’90s Chicago band Urge Overkill, has died, at the age of 57. He was a talented drummer who was loved by many following his great playing skills and personality.
News of his demise was announced by his band in a statement sighted on their Twitter page, “Urge Overkill is saddened to report that Blackie has passed away….. “Please respect our privacy at this time”
The statement on the band’s Twitter page did not reveal his cause of death. There is little information on the internet regarding his sudden demise.
