Utah native and former Beehive State public toilet basketball nice Arnie Ferrin died Tues morning.
Ferrin, World Health Organization was born in 1925, in Salt Lake town, and created Beehive State as his home. He died at 97 years as a result of natural causes, his family had confirmed. He was encircled by family at the time of his death early Tues morning.
His son, Tres, aforesaid all World Health Organization knew his father thought of him as a “fine man” and “we’re getting to miss him a great deal.”
“Arnie Ferrin can forever be remembered not solely joined of the foremost accomplished Beehive State athletes of uncomparable, however as a cherished member of the University of Beehive State family,” Beehive State athletic director Mark Harlan aforesaid during a statement. “He created a long-lasting impact so much on the far side of his athletics accomplishments, serving as athletics director for 9 years and remaining a proud Beehive State Ute as he continued to support our athletics programs year once a year.”
