Famous media personality Nana Aba Anamoah announced unequivocally that, while she is not married, she is in a relationship.
She says she will marry when she learns her spouse actually loves and understands her, and that other material concerns will have no bearing on her choice to marriage.
She refuted the notion that when a woman marries, she is considered ‘complete’ in society, emphasizing the fact that the Bible does not make such a pronouncement, rendering it worthless.
Nana Aba opposed the notion that every woman must marry in order to be considered a responsible member of society in an interview with Stacy Amoateng, which was broadcast live on GhanaWeb.
“I am not single, but I am not married…”People appear to believe that a woman is only whole or fulfilled when she is married. I will marry because I believe that the man who wishes to marry me makes me happy, not for money or material gain.
“I found someone like that. Is there somewhere in the Bible that says all women must marry? So, if God, the ultimate being, does not believe that every woman should marry, who are you to tell me that every woman must marry before they are complete?” She quizzed.
