Reports have it that she currently lives in Tennessee. Nashville, Tennessee, is where Chauhan launched her first restaurant. The restaurant’s name is Chauhan Ale and Masala House. The 150-seat restaurant first opened its doors in August 2014.
She is a judge on Chopped on the Food Network and was once the Executive Chef at numerous renowned restaurants in Chicago, Nashville, and New York. She has made appearances on a number of television shows, including The Next Iron Chef, The View on ABC, Iron Chef America, the Today programme on NBC, and Worst Cooks in America: The Finale on Food Network. She also triumphed in the 2021 Food Network Tournament of Champions.
She wrote Flavors of My World: A Culinary Tour Through 25 Countries, her debut cookbook, which was released by Favorite Recipes Press, a division of Southwestern Publishing Group, a Nashville-based company.
For the book’s promotion, she organised a 21-city bus tour throughout the United States, and it was named one of the Cookbooks of the Year. In 2014, the International Association of Culinary Professionals gave The Journey, a book she co-authored with Katy Sparks, Alex Raij, Rita Sodi, and Kathleen Squires (electronic; publisher: Alta Editions), the honour.
