Bray Wyatt, an American professional wrestler, was born in Brooksville, Florida, on May 23, 1987. In real life, he goes by the name Windham Lawrence Rotunda. He went to Hernando High School, where he won the state wrestling title in 2005 while weighing 275 pounds (125 kg). He earned his degree in 2005. In football, he also played guard and defensive tackle.
He is presently hired by WWE, where he appears on the SmackDown brand as Bray Wyatt. He defeated Brian Jossie in his first-ever dark match on the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) program on February 5, 2009. Rotunda made his television debut as Alex Rotundo in April 2009.
Later, he adopted the name, Duke Rotundo. He and his brother Bo started working together in June 2009. From 2013 through 2018, Wyatt portrayed a depraved cult leader who saw himself as the “nagging conscience of an immoral world.” The in-ring booking of Rotunda’s identities has drawn criticism, despite the widespread admiration for his character work.
The Fiend was named Worst Gimmick of the Year in 2020 by subscribers to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, making Wyatt the only performer to have received both awards.
