American football running back Zamir White plays for the National Football League’s Las Vegas Raiders.
At the 2022 NFL Draft, the Raiders selected him in the fourth round. At Georgia, where he played college football, he was nicknamed “Zeus” by his teammates.
Where did Zamir White go to high school?
White started his footballing career at Scotland High School, located in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
Before tearing his ACL in the second round of the state playoffs, White ran for 2,086 yards and 34 touchdowns as a senior in high school, winning the Sam B. Nicola Award as the national high school player of the year.
White, a running back who was widely regarded as one of the top five recruits, chose Georgia over offers from Alabama, Clemson, North Carolina, and Ohio State.
His reason for choosing Georgia State University to play college football is not yet known but all we know is that he made the right choice based on his own guts.
