Where did Wayne Pyle go to high school?

Pyle earned his MFA in acting from the University of Delaware’s Professional Theatre Training Program, also known as the P.T.T.P.

He played at Shakespeare festivals across the country as well as international theatre festivals during his three years at the P.T.T.P.

After finishing graduate school, he formed the American Shakespeare Theatre Company, which produced and toured Taiwan with a production of “Hamlet” in 2000. He co-produced “Within a Play,” a documentary about the event that aired on the Sundance Channel. While residing in Philadelphia, he collaborated with the improvisational comedy troupe ComedySportz and starred in brief background roles in Unbreakable and other films. While pursuing work in regional theatre, he was cast in the inaugural National Tour of Disney’s “The Lion King” in 2001, playing Ed the hyena and filling in for Timon and Zazu.

When he quit the road in 2006, after five years of touring, he relocated to the Hudson Valley in New York in 2008, and he and his wife, Heidi Eklund of Hudson Valley Casting, were part of a close-knit filmmaking and theatre community with strong ties to New York City, Kingston, Newburgh, and Albany. In 2010, Eklund and Pyle had a child.
