Where did Tyler Davis go to high school?

Davis attended St. Charles North High School in St. Charles, Illinois, but did not play football there. He did, however, play for his high school soccer team and attend the US Soccer Development Academy. He had to miss his sophomore year of high school due to a car accident. In his junior year, he returned and set a school record with 25 goals.

Davis began his college career at Bradley University, where he played soccer rather than football. Tyler transferred to Penn State after a year at Bradley, where he walked on as a placekicker.

Davis went 8 for 8 on field goals and 11 for 11 on extra points during the 2015 season. That year, he shared kicking duties with freshman Joey Julius. During his junior season, he went 22 for 24 on field goals (both misses were blocked) and went 55/55 on free throws. He finished the regular season with 121 points and was named All-Big Ten.
