Troy Hill, a cornerback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League, was born on August 29, 1991. At Oregon, he played collegiate football.

Hill attended Ventura, California’s St. Bonaventure High School. In his senior year, he split time between wide receiver and defensive back for a team that went 11-2; however, after it was discovered that Hill was ineligible, all of those victories were thrown out.

Hill won accolades in high school, including First-Team All-Channel League Defense in 2009, Second-Team All-State Junior by CalHiSports.com in 2008, Second-Team All-Channel League Defense in 2007, and All-CIF-Southern Section Northern Division in 2007. Hill was ranked as the No. 32 corner in the nation and had a three-star rating from Scout.com and Rivals.com.

Yes, Hill was the Ducks’ fifth-leading tackler among defensive backs in his junior season. Hill finished the season with 29 tackles, 21 of which were solo, and four passes deflected. Hill had 71 tackles as a senior for Oregon, good for seventh place on the team.

Hill was selected for the second team of the Pac-12 all-conference team, started 14 games, and finished 11th overall and second in the league in passes defended (1.46 average). Hill was detained on December 16, 2013, and after pleading guilty to menacing, was suspended from the team before being later added back.
