While at Findlay Prep, he led the school to their first National Championship and was named a 2010 McDonald’s All-American, as well as a Jordan Brand Classic All-American.
In 2009, he signed a letter to play at the University of Texas where he was named the most valuable player in the 2010-2011 season.
He joined the University of Texas and played college football for the Texas Longhorns.
He won the team’s Most Valuable Player award for his performance.
