Trevon Wesco is an American football tight end who currently plays for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. Wesco was born on September 12, 1995.
During the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected Wesco in the fourth round with the 121st overall selection. This placed him in the Jets’ possession. During his first season with the team, Wesco spent most of his time as a fullback but was also given opportunities to play tight end.
The 2021 season began with Wesco serving as the third-string tight end behind starters Ryan Griffin and Tyler Kroft. In Week 16, he sustained a knee injury, and on December 27, he was placed on injured reserve as a result of the injury. During the course of the season, he played in 12 games and made seven starts, although he only had three receptions for 35 yards and no touchdowns. On the 30th of August in 2022, he was one of the players the Jets cut off their roster before doing so.
