Trestan Ebner, who debuted for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League on January 2, 1999, is an American football running back and return specialist. At Baylor, he participated in college football.
He made the decision to return to Baylor for a fifth season in order to take advantage of the additional year of eligibility provided to college athletes who competed in the 2020 season as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Ebner was raised in Henderson, Texas, where she graduated from Henderson High School. He recorded 57 receptions for 1,074 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior.
During his first season, Ebner appeared in 11 games, rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns, and caught 20 passes for 267 yards and three more. In his second season, he had 29 receptions for 348 yards and one touchdown in addition to 413 yards on 69 carries.
As a junior, Ebner carried for 250 yards and three touchdowns. As a senior, Ebner took over Baylor’s kickoff return responsibilities and was named the Big 12 Conference Special Teams Player of the Year after returning 20 kickoffs for 612 yards and two touchdowns in addition to rushing for 107 yards and one score and catching 26 passes for 299 yards and three more scores.
