Richard Thomas “Trace” McSorley III, a quarterback for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals, was born on August 23, 1995. (NFL). In the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected him from Penn State, where he played college football.

From 2010 through 2014, McSorley attended Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Virginia. He began as a freshman in high school football. He guided the group to a 13-2 record and a state title in his rookie season. He guided the team to a 15-0 record and its third consecutive state championship two seasons later, during his junior year. The Virginia Coaches Association and Virginia Preps awarded him to the First Team All-State. He received honors as a junior including First Team All-Dulles District, Offensive Player of the Year for the district, and Second Team All-Region Quarterback.
