On August 23, 1995, Richard Thomas “Trace” McSorley III, a quarterback with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, was born. The Baltimore Ravens selected him from Penn State, where he played college football, in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

McSorley attended Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Virginia, from 2010 until 2014. He started playing high school football as a freshman. In his first season, he led the team to a 13-2 record and a state championship.
