Did Tanner Vallejo play college football?

Yes, Vallejo had 100 tackles as a sophomore at Boise State, but he had to leave his college career early so he could have wrist surgery. He contributed to the Broncos’ 28-0 victory in one game during his sophomore campaign by blocking two kicks. His speed and capacity to break up plays in the backfield were highlighted by Pro Football Focus. They did, however, mention in their scouting report that he was undersized and had weak tackling technique his senior year.
