A free-agency outside linebacker for American football, Takkarist Jaune McKinley was born on November 2, 1995. In the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons selected him from UCLA’s football program.

McKinley studied at Richmond, California’s Kennedy High School. He participated in football for the Eagles. As a junior, he recorded 50 tackles and 15 sacks; as a senior, he recorded 60 tackles and 11 sacks. In high school, he participated in track.
