Where did Silvio Berlusconi live? Inside Silvio Berlusconi’s home

Silvio Berlusconi lived in a number of homes throughout his life, but his most famous residence was Villa Certosa, a sprawling estate on the Italian Riviera.

The villa was nicknamed the “bunga bunga” palace after reports emerged that Berlusconi hosted lavish parties there with young women. Berlusconi denied any wrongdoing, but the scandal led to his resignation as Prime Minister of Italy in 2011.

In January 1994, Berlusconi quickly ascended to the top of Italian politics. Following the 1994 Italian general election, in which Forza Italia obtained a relative majority just three months after its establishment, he was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies and named Prime Minister. After nine months, his cabinet fell apart as a result of tensions between the coalition parties.
