On September 15, 2000, Sean Michael Rhyan, a guard with the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League, was born.

When Rhyan was younger, he primarily played baseball and rugby. He was reared in Ladera Ranch, California, after being born in Laguna Hills, California.

He began his education at Capistrano Valley Christian School in San Juan Capistrano, California, and after his first year transferred to San Juan Hills High School.

Rhyan competed in the 2019 All-American Bowl as a senior and was recognized as the male athlete of the year by the Orange County Register. Rhyan also captured the Division 1 CIF Southern Section title in the shot put.

Yes, prior to the start of his first season, Rhyan was designated the Bruins’ offensive tackle starter. He started each of UCLA’s 12 games, and both USA Today and the Football Writers Association of America named him a Freshman All-American. In the Bruins’ seven games during the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season, Rhyan started each one.
