On October 30, 2011, he had his second sack and punt blocked against the New Orleans Saints, earning him the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week Award. Quinn made his first career start on December 18, 2011, when James Hall suffered a knee injury. He had one tackle and one pass deflection in the Rams’ 20-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Quinn had 23 combined tackles (20 solo), five sacks, three blocked punts, two pass deflections, and a forced fumble in 16 games and one start as a rookie.
