Peggy was raised outside of Philadelphia, where her father was a corporate executive and her mother was involved in a number of voluntary activities. Her parents instilled in her a passion for travel, sailing, and animals.

Where did Peggy J. Scott go to high school?

She studied art, philosophy, and French dramatic literature during her junior year at the Institute for American Universities in Aix-en-Provence, France. She traveled throughout Europe during her time in France, eager to learn more about the globe and our country’s place in it. She has lived on a sailboat, walked in Peru, visited Bushmen villages, and traveled extensively, visiting five continents and forty countries in Asia, South America, Europe, and, most recently, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe on safari. One of the delights of her experience in those isolated locations was seeing animals in their natural habitat.

She has a large collection of nature photographs and still enjoys using her camera. She was introduced to a tiny village school in Zimbabwe by her guide, and she now sponsors the education of several youngsters in this incredibly remote area.
