Patrick De’mon Peterson Jr., a cornerback with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League, was born on July 11, 1990. (NFL). He participated in collegiate football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he was named a unanimous All-American and won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in the nation as well as the Jim Thorpe Award as the finest defensive back.
In the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected Peterson fifth overall. In each of his first eight seasons in the NFL, Peterson was selected for the Pro Bowl. He spent 10 seasons with Arizona before signing a free agent contract with the Vikings in 2021.

Peterson was born in Pompano Beach, Florida. He played defensive back and running back at Blanche Ely High School. He scored 11 touchdowns overall as a junior while also making 54 tackles on defense and seven interceptions. He added 10 rushes for 213 yards and three kickoff returns for touchdowns.
