Patrick De’mon Peterson Jr., a cornerback with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League, was born on July 11, 1990. (NFL). He participated in collegiate football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he was named a unanimous All-American and won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in the nation as well as the Jim Thorpe Award as the finest defensive back.
In the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected Peterson fifth overall. In each of his first eight seasons in the NFL, Peterson was selected for the Pro Bowl. He spent 10 seasons with Arizona before signing a free agent contract with the Vikings in 2021.
