Landman Nate Landman played baseball, rugby, and football while he was a student at Monte Vista High School. While playing both linebacker and wide receiver, Landman succeeded at both positions. Over the course of his four years of varsity play, Landman accrued more than 1,000 receiving yards.
Additionally, he had more than 160 tackles, 15 sacks, and 4 interceptions. During his senior year, Landman led Monte Vista in a successful state playoff run. In his final season, Landman was named the MVP of the East Bay Athletic League.
He was named the East Bay Defensive Player of the Year by the San Jose Times and to the MaxPreps All-NorCal High School Football Team. He was named to all district and state teams for his final two seasons.
