Where did Mike Pennel go to college? Did Mike Pennel play college football?

Pennel played college football at three different colleges due to his lack of discipline on the field of play.

He first enrolled at Scottsdale Community College, transferred to Arizona State University, and subsequently graduated from Colorado State University, Pueblo.

He had to switch from Arizona State University to CSU Pueblo because Arizona State was forced to suspend him indefinitely owing to some unsavory comments he made on Twitter.

The New York Jets selected Pennel in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. In 2017, he appeared in all 16 games and recorded a career-high 35 tackles.

Pennel signed a three-year contract with the Jets on March 16, 2018. The Jets declined Pennel’s contract option in February 2019, rendering him a free agent at the start of the new league year.
