Marlon N. Humphrey, a cornerback for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens, was born on July 8, 1996. (NFL). He went to Hoover High School, where in 2012 and 2013 he was selected for the USA Today All-USA high school football team. At the 2013 World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine, he won a silver medal in the 110-meter hurdles, during his time there. The USA Today All-American Track & Field Team also included him.

In 2015 and 2016, Humphrey participated in collegiate football at Alabama. He expected to play football and track during his time there, but ended up playing cornerback instead. He and the Alabama football team took home the CFP National Title in 2015. He was selected for the College Football All-America Team in 2016.

The Ravens selected Humphrey with the 16th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Following the signing of Earl Thomas by the squad in 2019, he switched his jersey number from 29 to 44. He was named to the Pro Bowl team in 2019 and 2020, and in 2019 he received a first-team All-Pro accolade.
